Memorandum of Understanding AJVS-COLMEVET

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established between the Austral Journal of Veterinary Sciences (AJVS) and the Colegio Médico Veterinario de Chile A.G. (COLMEVET) aims to foster collaborative efforts in the dissemination of veterinary science. This agreement includes offering COLMEVET members a 25% discount on publication fees, granting them preferential access to publish in the journal.

Discount Eligibility

  • Professionals must be active members of COLMEVET. 
  • Proof of active membership is required to obtain the discount. You can include your COLMEVET’s member number in your cover letter.
  • Only first authors or corresponding authors are eligible for the discount.

Discount Details

  • A 25% discount is applied to the standard publication fee of CLP $850,000.
  • This discount cannot be combined with an additional 15% discount granted to authors who have served as reviewers.

Publication Process

  • All submitted articles undergo peer review; acceptance depends on this process.
  • Publication is subject to the journal’s current editorial policies.
