The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) established between the Austral Journal of Veterinary Sciences (AJVS) and the Colegio Médico Veterinario de Chile A.G. (COLMEVET) aims to foster collaborative efforts in the dissemination of veterinary science. This institutional agreement grants COLMEVET members preferential conditions and financial benefits to publish their research in our journal.

⚠️ Compatibility Policy
- This exclusive institutional discount cannot be combined with the 15% discount granted to authors who have served as peer reviewers.
- All submitted articles must strictly undergo the standard double-blind peer review; manuscript acceptance depends entirely on this scientific evaluation.

Discount Eligibility Criteria
To clear the standard audit process, authors must fulfill the following mandatory criteria:
- Active Membership: Professionals must be active, registered members of COLMEVET at the time of payment validation.
- Proof of Status: Verification is mandatory. Authors must explicitly include their official COLMEVET member registration number within their submitted Cover Letter.
- Authorship Role: Only individuals listed as the First Author or the Corresponding Author of the manuscript are eligible to trigger this discount bracket.
